You’ll choose the best out of the different disciplines mentioned above in order to achieve your goals and live more fully and aligned with who you are.

Mindfulness

To start with, meditating for a few minutes in our sessions isn’t essential. If you find it interesting, though, we can start each session with 5 to 8 minute’ mindfulness meditations. Mindfulness helps focus your attention on your breathing, on your body, on the sounds of the environment and on your sensations and when you get distracted, you accept it and quickly return to the present moment.

The benefits of a mini mindfulness session is that it'll help you be more focused and grounded during the session. In addition, you'll also learn to be more connected to the present moment as it unfolds. Again, this is your choice. Just in case you're wondering ... you aren’t required to meditate between sessions unless you want to, of course.

EFT=Emotional Freedom Technique oR Tapping

EFT = Emotional Freedom Technique, or Tapping, refers to the act of tapping different meridians applying acupressure to eliminate the internal imbalances caused by our tension or suffering.

According to its developer, Gary Craig, a disruption in energy is the cause of all negative emotions and pain. Similar to acupuncture, EFT is applied to restore balance to our body’s energy and thus, relieve the symptoms a negative experience or emotion may have caused.

As with mindfulness, you can choose not to use this method during the sessions. If you’re up for it, it is a very simple and powerful tool that you'll take home to put into practice when you feel out of alignment.

Transpersonal PSYCHOLOGY

Transpersonal Psychology is the most current psychological model. It has the great merit of integrating the spiritual plane into the psychological practice. Transpersonal Psychology includes dimensions of human experience and behavior associated with health and well-being, which move away from the pathologizing view of other branches of psychology. It considers the human being as somebody in permanent growth and expansion.

Frances Vaughan asserts "Transpersonal literally means 'beyond the personal', beyond the ego. A transpersonal vision of psychology aims at getting to the wisdom that is inside all of us, our source of true health, of compassion and beauty. It helps us awaken from our ego-mind, which makes us experience a very limited reality conditioned by fears, insecurities and wounds. 

Transpersonal Psychology believes we are meant to experience a more expansive and higher-functioning state of living.
